English as a second language students will have an opportunity to read their stories. For some it will be the first time reading English in public.
SOME OF OUR PROGRAMS
The Respect Awards are celebrating their 14th year with JWC of Milford hosting for two of those years. It is a peer nominated program where students elect one Respect Star per classroom who shows respect for themselves, their classmates, their school and their community.
A handful of Respect Stars are then chosen to be Respect Ambassadors and honored at a special assembly in May as well as march in the Memorial Day parade!
The group clears a section of town behind Milford Public Library to promote a cleaner and greener community.
